Golden Retriever - English/American in Borculo, Michigan For Sale

Berkeley is 3 1/2 years old & is an English/American Golden Retriever. His Father has his Penn Hip Certification from the University of Madison Vetrinarian Clinic and is a 100% English Creme Golden that came from International Champion parents and Grandparents. His Mother is approximately 35% English Golden and comes from the Asterling and TopBrass American Champion lines.
Berkely is a fun loving & happy Golden Retriever. He is a light golden and his lineage includes relatives from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Hungary, Ireland, Canada and the US. He loves to take walks & loves his pets. He will be very faithful & protective of his owner. He always wants to be right by his owners side & loves his attention. He is house trained & never had a problem with accidents. He is healthy, neutered, & up to date on all vaccines. In addition, he is up to date on all his Heartworm & Frontline meds.
When we take him to off leash exercise areas, he is very good & always comes right back to us when called. He also knows sit, down, & leave it commands. He will try & take pillows or stuffed animals & try & play with them. He is currently in a yard with an electric fence & never tries to leave the yard, but he needs a fenced in yard. Berkeley does like to grab onto your leg when he is trying to get your attention. This can be uncomfortable for young children. Currently he lives in a home with 3 young kids & they have lots of friends over. Berkeley is protective of the kids & their friends make him uncomfortable. He will try & nip their friends legs & the kids don't like it. Therefore, Berkeley would be better in a home without young children. He is good with other dogs, but it would be better if the other dog is a female. Berkely will need attention and will need additional training to teach him how to not nip. He needs a home with adults that would enjoy spending time with him & will exercise him. He will also need a fenced in yard. If you are interested, please call us.
